Thanakorn is the first soybean and sunflower oil manufacturer in Asia to introduce the Ice Condensation Vacuum System (ICS) in the oil refinery industry. The high-pressure steam helps reduce the temperature and the time consumed during the deodorising process of edible oils resulting in high quality oil, low in Trans-Fatty Acids which is heathier for consumers. The oilseeds in manufacturing soybean oil and soybean meal at Thanakorn are from domestic plantations as well as imported. The domestic oilseeds are from the agricultural areas in the Upper Central, Northern and North Eastern parts of Thailand.<\/p>
